The original external staircase had suffered extensive rot and was no longer safe to use, leaving the homeowner without access for several months. We built an entirely new staircase from the ground up, using Merbau for the stringers and treads along with new handrails, balustrades and custom tulip panels.
 

The result is a strong, durable staircase that restores safe access while adding a considered architectural detail to the exterior of the home.
